“Life is short.” We’ve heard it before, but it has not meant all that much to us…until now. Each year the fraction of our lives is becoming smaller. When we were two, a year was half our existence on Earth. When we were ten, a year was 1/10th. Here, at the age of 20, we are beginning to feel our lives speeding by. It is time we do something bigger than ourselves. We have decided to plan a 6 month long journey that starts in Boston and ends in California. Along the way we plan to: complete the toughest Ironman created, climb the tallest mountain in the contiguous US, descend to the lowest point in the US, and run a marathon in 11 different states. We will explore Washington D.C., Orlando, Miami, Florida Keys, New Orleans, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Las Vegas, San Diego, Hollywood, San Fransisco, and so many other breath taking places. Two Men. Two Bikes. Infinite Road. Join us!
Hi there! My name is Taylor Thibodeau. I started this website last winter to keep track of my Boston Marathon training progress. Since then, this blog has transformed into a way to document the preceding of our bike adventure and the trip itself. My whole 19 years of life I have wanted to “break free” from the suburban bubble I live in. It’s not that I don’t love the comfort of my small town, but I do need to see what else the world has to offer. This bike trip is just what the Dr. ordered.
I love acting. I have performed in many productions and have been blessed with some exciting roles including: Captain Hook and The Cat in The Hat. In 2009, I began writing and acting in sketches for my YouTube channel. Within a few months, the channel received over 10,000 views. When I’m not in front of the camera, I am behind it. I love documenting life and keeping a hold of memories that would otherwise be lost. When I put the camera away, you can find me searching for adventure in the great outdoors of God’s creation. I can never get enough of the outside world. During the week days, you can be sure that I will be behind a laptop working on data quality at EMC. On the weekends, I spend my time training. It’s all about the Running, Biking, and Lifting. At the end of a long physically exhausting day of endurance work outs, you can find me lying in my bed watching a critically acclaimed film with a full bag of hot fries and an ice cold chill zone from Cumberland Farms. I am a big fan of meeting new people and starting new relationships. On the other end, I adore the friends I am lucky enough to have and pursue the strengthening of those relationships. Interesting Facts: 1) I love the Lord with all that I have. He is my Creator. 2) I can burp full sentences. 3) I ran the Boston Marathon. 4) I’m ridicuously excited to find the woman of my dreams…not easy with such picky standards. 5) I have 8 arms. 6) 5 was a joke. 7) 5 and 6 are prime examples of how I’m not that funny.
I want to thank you for spending your time here with me! Feel free to stop by anytime and follow our progress on what is sure to be the greatest journey of our lives. I’m excited to see what God has in store for me. Take care and God bless!
Sincerely,
Taylor

You are two genetically/environmentally blessed young men with the world as your oyster. Go for it, while not forgetting those less fortunate(most.)
You guys are cool. May your determination and warm hearts inspire those who come in contact with you.
I might have places for you to stay in Jacksonville, Houston if you’re going there, and Los Angeles near Holywood. Let me know if you want me to pursue on or all of these. Good luck with the trip. Suck the marrow out of life!
Thanks Mr. Dowd! Is it Jacksonville, Florida? If so, that would be right on our path! Los Angeles is also likely, but our arrival there is up in the air. Houston will also be in line with us. Also, If we are not careful, life may soon get Myelodysplastic Syndrome…
My friends Kelly and Adam said they would be happy to host you in Jacksonville, FL (and you’ll get to meet their little dog, Kirby). When, approx, do you think you’ll be there?
Good Luck. I’m Very, Very proud of you.
