Taylors’ Day of Rest.

Today, Steve and Mr. Levy will go on a century ride (100 mi) through the scenic side of Jersey. I decided to take advantage of this and get some rest. As some of you know, I have been feeling a bit worn down since the first ride and have not had a chance to rest my body. With a go go go routine, functioning on sub 6 hours of sleep a night is not allowing my body to regenerate energy. Though I am envious of Steve and Mr. Levy, I know the smart thing to do is relax.

  2. I’m sorry you are feeling so sick… Smart to rest. There will be a lot more to see in the next 5 months and 3 weeks. I’m praying… God is faithful… I’ll reach out to more of the community and ask them to pray. Have fun editing the film! I honestly cannot wait , literally holding my breath for the movie! Do what you must…get that footage! I love you so much… Take care, be good and have fun!

  3. Your Mom is right Tay…it’s smart to get some rest. Sorry your so under the weather. Rest, airborne and chicken soup…should help some.

  4. Hey Taylor-Steven’s cousin here-have you guys heard of taking a shot of unfiltered apple cider vinegar everyday to ward off the sickies? My best friend swears by it πŸ™‚ Not sure if it is conducive to travel though. I hope you get better soon-I can totally relate to your current situation-as someone who also feels that working out is like brushing your teeth (as in, something you do everyday) I am unable to do so due to some health issues at the moment. I SO understand how hard to watch everyone else go about their routines at the gym (or in this case out for a big ride) etc. But I know I have to let my body heal-much like you do! If you can spare it, I would lay off the workout just for today to really let your body heal (just my 2 cents-from someone who isn’t your Mom-or Steven’s Mom for that matter!)
    Your posts are hilarious and your spirit is so inspirational! I have been checking your blog several times a day for updates and will probably continue to do so until you guys are home safe! Best of luck with the video (I am into photography myself-keep those pics coming at least!) and if it was meant to be it will be! πŸ™‚

  6. Sorry this is my first time checking in, though I have been following your mom’s (Karen’) posts. Taylor, definitely rest today! Sleep does the body more good than exercise when you are fighting off something. Too bad grandma couldn’t get you a c-pac-that would kick that sore throat’s butt! We Reardons love you and wish you better health for the next leg. I’ll check back soon!
